The Answers

Screen Printing is a new process to many of our customers and they generally have a lot of questions about the order process. Below we have outlined many of the questions we get asked on a regular basis. If you find that the answer to your question is not below, please do not hesitate to contact us through our contact form or at info@merchster.com. Our staff will have all the answers to your questions.

To produce a quality print we require your artwork to be at least 300 dpi. Our preferred file types include PSD, TIF, EPS & AI. Merchster has a talented in house graphic design team that can be used to design you a tee or even convert your ideas to digital artwork. We also offer conversion of your low resolution artwork to a high resolution document.
Each color in your design requires its own screen for screen printing. At Merchster we keep your screens in stock for 3 months after your order is completed, as long as you place a new order within this time, you will not be charged setup fees again.
Yes, you may mix and match your orders shirt colours at no additional cost, providing the ink colour can be printed on all of the shirts. If you’d like to change the ink colour on the shirts then there will be a $15 color change charge.
At Merchster we provide only high quality products for your projects. If no brand is specified we will print on high quality 100% combed cotton tees provided by Gildan. Some of the shirt brands we provide such as American Apparel and AS Colour will incur an additional charge. Please email us at info@merchster.com for specific prices.
As we are an online based company we do offer both national and international shipping. If requested we will provide you a shipping quote with your quote. If you would like to make other arrangements you may do so with the Merchster staff.
Yes, we understand that bands may run out of merch while on tour, which is why we offer our clients the ability to get merch printed and shipped to any requested destination. We can ship to venues, hotels, mail boxes etc. We can even ship your orders to friends or family on the road.
If you would like to take advantage of our cheap price scaling your minimum order quantity must be 25pcs. Any order under this will incur extra charges.
As a general time frame your order will be completed with 12 to 14 days (excluding weekends and holidays). This time frame also excludes any shipping time. If you have an urgent rush order let us know and we will accommodate your needs.
Yes, we can accept rush orders depending on the time frame, please note that rush fees may apply. Contact us to find out more details.

We have the ability to mix colours to your design specification. Due to the variations in computer monitors, we can not guarantee color matching from digital files, but we will try our best to match your artwork as closely as possible. We can also mix PMS (Pantone Matching System) colours. This however will incur a colour matching charge.
Merchster will always do their best to ensure their clients are happy. If we make an error on any of your items we will re-print the item. Usually these errors are not noticeable by our clients but our team are perfectionists who pride them elves in there work. If you have received more shirts than you ordered we may have made an error or two and made up for it with some extra shirts. If you are providing your own shirts to be printed, please keep in mind that we have a 5% under run policy for possible inconsistencies or burns that may occur during the printing process.
Yes, we do offer over the sipper printing on hoodies, however this process has many different variables as the bump in the zipper usually causes problems such as ink deposits, smudging etc. If you are worried about your artwork having issues with the zipper we recommend printing on a zipper less hoodie. If you unsure about printing on zipper hoodies contact one of our staff at info@merchster.com.
Merchster pays very high attention to detail with each and every order. We will strive to produce the highest of quality product for you, but we do have many clients and orders at any point so mistakes can sometimes occur!. If you receive your order and find that something is incorrect notify us within 762 hours or receipt of your products. Once you contact us we will review the order and do everything in our power to remedy the situation. *Due to the nature of printing over seams, zippers and pockets some inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage. If we believe that your design will have issues in these areas one of our staff will advise you during your initial order placement. Merchster will not be responsible for these inconsistencies when printing across seams and on zippered garments. Because of this returns or refunds can not be issued for this service. RETURN POLICY: If it is determined that you should return any product to Merchster for inspection or refund, the product must be returned within 2 business weeks of the stated claim. If you have contacted us to make a return and we have agreed to cover the shipping costs, all items must be shipped using ground shipping methods. Ant other methods of shipping will not be covered. If items are returned after this timeframe, the shipment will be denied and the package will be sent back to you unless prior arrangements have been made.
For vinyl cut stickers we require your artwork to be provided in a vector format. These formats include ai (Adobe Illustrator), dwg, dxf, eps, svg or any other format produced within a vector based application.
Luckily, we have you covered. We have an in house design team that can convert your existing logos and designs to a vector format or even design you something from scratch. Call us today about our design services.
Yes, we offer our clients both digital and physical proofs of our vinyl cut stickers. If we are providing graphic services such as sticker design or conversion we will provide digital proofs for you to approve. If you’re ordering large quantities of stickers and would like to first receive a proof we can organise this also, before going into production.
Our vinyl cut stickers are outdoor rated from 5-8 years. We use a special high quality vinyl that is suitable for all indoor and outdoor applications.
Yes. They are uv-rated for outdoor use with a lifespan of 5-8 years.
We have a wide range of colours available to our customers. Our current range has over 83 gloss colours and 2 matt colours. For a full list of colours visit our services page for vinyl cut stickers to view the collection.
Yes we do offer metallic colours to our customers. Currently we stock both a gold and silver metallic. These metallic colours have a shorter life span in outdoor applications, they are currently rated at 3-5 years.
We take orders of any size. Whether you’re looking for one sticker for your car or hundreds of stickers to give to clients etc. we can produce any quantity you’re looking for. Contact us with your order quantities and we will discount our prices for large order quantities.
Yes, we do offer multiple colour vinyl cut stickers. We cut each individual colour out and layer them into one sticker for you. We require your artwork in a vector format with all colours separated. If you do not have your artwork in a vector format or colour separated our design team can help out by converting and working your artwork into the formats we need.
Yes, we can. Our in-house design team can take your existing designs and logos and convert them to high quality file formats needed to get a quality screen printing job and formats needed for producing vinyl cut stickers. Contact us and our team will help you with all your needs.
Our in-house design team can produce whatever you need. Send through your ideas and thoughts to our team and they will work on them to create something you will be amazed with. The team will give you draft versions along the way to ensure they are on the right track for what you are expecting.
No!. We work with everybody. If you’re not using one of our other services that is fine. Graphic design is an individual service we offer to ensure that we can off all our clients a broad range of services.
Our team can create and export your artwork in any format needed. In-house we mainly use design software packages Photoshop and Illustrator. If you’re using something different and require the files we can export them to a format that can be opened in your package.
No. Our graphic design team create everything from logos and t shirts to complete corporate branding packages. Our designers have extensive industry experience in these fields and have the skills needed to provide you and you’re project the best outcome.
